Deadline for SXSW submissions this Friday

South By Southwest Application
South By Southwest ApplicationToronto bands looking to apply to showcase at the 2010 South By Southwest Music conference in Austin, Texas need to do so by midnight on Friday November 6.  The festival will be running March 17-21 and encourages Toronto bands to apply through Sonicbids.  Unfortunately there is a $40 application fee, but the fee also gives bands a six-month membership trial to Sonicbids.  Last year’s Toronto performers included Sebastien Grainger, Emma-Lee, The D’Urbervilles, the Mark Inside, Magneta Lane and more.

Here are some helpful links provided by Sonicbids whether you’re applying to SXSW or not.

Vehicle: 1998 Plymouth Voyageur

Anyone with information is asked to contact the band’s publicist.  The photo pictured is not Minto’s van, but very similar.  Thank you for your help!
