Indie Week Band of the Day: Duck Duck Goose

By: Sean Carsley October 13, 2013

As you pick bands to see for Indie Week Canada and you stumble across Duck Duck Goose, I will tell you: don’t judge a book by its cover. After all, their hip name shows how funny they can be, but it doesn’t do justice to what they’re capable of in the studio. When you listen to their EP, Shoot the Stork, you’ll quickly learn that this band is the real deal. A strong, tight sound from five guys who can take the alternative/rock and provide great music from within the hooks they create – with unique vox as an added bonus. And that’s always a good combination.

Toronto Music Scene is an official partner of Indie Week Canada. Follow us on Twitter @TorontoMusic and Indie Week @IndieWeek. For a full list of bands check out

Also be sure to check out the Toronto Music Scene Indie Week After Party on Oct 18 featuring: The Beaches, TJ Hollywood, the Ascot Royals, and Wildheart.
