Formed in early 2006 Toronto based female fronted Ill of Day has proved to be a force to reckon with.  Denise Anselmo’s seductive high energy vocals and the gripping instrumentals of Danny Nobrega (Drums) Jay Peirce (Bass) and Tyler Hunter (Guitars) scratch only the surface of the IOD experience.  Their approach to the seduction of the minds eye has won them several awards and nominations through various media outlets such as:

Denise Anselmo was nominated for Best Female Vocalist at the Independent Online Music Awards in 2007!

They were also nominated in the 2007 Toronto Independant music awards in the "Best Metal" category.

Let’s not forget to mention their three week victory at the top of the charts ranking # 1 on 97.9 FM humber radio’s "Unsigned" program.
