After only a short time in the limelight of the Hamilton Music Scene, 40 Sons And Daughters have shared the stage with such headlining bands as Ozzy Ozbourne, Black Label Society, System of a Down, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Atreyu, and others.

The formation of 40 Sons And Daughters began in the spring of 2004 when Cristiano Andreatta, Mike Szpakowski, and Graeme Hawkins joined together to form three quarters of what would become the band. They auditioned several vocalists until finally finding the missing piece – Mike Repic.

Without hesitation, they recorded their self-titled demo after gaining a live reputation across Hamilton. The demo was widely accepted by fellow musicians and fans and also earned them a spot on the Top 20 Indie bands list on Triple X Hardcore Radio, as well as Track of the Day, Best Guitars, Best Vocals, Best Drums, Best Bass, and several other honours from the acclaimed Garageband.com. The band also has two songs continually rocketing up the Hard Rock and Alternative Rock charts on Garageband.com.

With a solid demo to support, 40 Sons And Daughters began once again playing at numerous venues and meeting many people until they decided that it was time to give their growing number of fans what they had been waiting for. 40 Sons And Daughters returned to the studio only a few months after the release of their demo to begin work on their brand new 7 song E.P. which was released April 7, 2006. With the release of the album, the band continued its success building up a solid and continuously growing fan base, and has gained a lot of recognition across Southern Ontario. They were named Hamilton's Rock Radio Station Y108 and Roger's Spring Music Festival's Breakout Band of 2006.  Along with the title of Breakout Band, the band won more studio time which they used to create another incredible recording, The Monster's Face, released in March of 2007. Many new songs were written and many more ideas were thought of for this new recording with a slight change in sound from their previous self-produced recordings under the production of acclaimed producer and engineer Paul Roussel.

Success continued to follow the band in the form of winning the Y108 Get Hammered Showcase in July 2006 to claim a performance at Ozzfest, sharing the stage with Ozzy himself in Darien Lake. As well, they earned a place on stage at Y108's Rock n' Roll Picnic at Gage Park in Hamilton with bands such as Thornley, April Wine, Jeff Martin, Tom Wilson and others.

To cap 2006 off, 40 Sons And Daughters placed 2nd in the ROCK genre of the Toronto Indie Festival.

Combining alternative rock with heavy riffs and melodic vocals in just the right amounts, is their secret to producing such amazing music. Influences for some of these incredible songs come from other bands such as Alice in Chains, A Perfect Circle, and Dream Theater. As one can see after only a short amount of time 40 Sons And Daughters have achieved great success and accomplished many feats that can take some years to achieve. The band just hopes to continue its forward momentum and accomplish many more of their goals, allowing them to continue their passion for playing music for many more years.
